Cortina Quartz Kitchen Worktops in Guildford

The Installation

This Guildford kitchen showcases the versatility of Cortina Quartz through several beautifully finished work surfaces and carefully integrated design details.

• Central Kitchen Island: The large island forms the focal point of the kitchen, featuring a substantial Cortina Quartz worktop with generous space for food preparation and informal dining. A contrasting dark cabinet finish and upholstered breakfast bar stools add warmth and character, while the bright quartz surface creates a striking visual balance.
• Waterfall Island End: At one end of the island, the Cortina Quartz continues vertically down to the floor, creating an elegant waterfall feature. This gives the island a substantial, seamless appearance and showcases the clean lines and subtle detailing of the material.
• Integrated Island Sink: A contemporary undermounted sink is set into the island worktop, paired with a stylish dark metallic tap. The carefully finished quartz edges create a neat transition around the sink, combining practical everyday functionality with a refined appearance.
• Surrounding Kitchen Worktops: Matching Cortina Quartz worktops extend around the perimeter of the kitchen, providing a consistent finish across the cabinetry. The light surfaces sit beautifully beneath the black-framed windows, helping to maximise the bright and airy feel of the room.
• Window Sink Area: A second sink is positioned beneath the large kitchen window, with a traditional brass tap complementing the cabinetry handles and other warm metallic details. The Cortina Quartz worktop provides an elegant, easy-to-clean surface around this frequently used area.
• Cooking Area: The kitchen’s dedicated cooking zone features a sleek induction hob and integrated ovens, surrounded by matching quartz work surfaces. A large antiqued mirrored splashback creates an eye-catching backdrop, reflecting light and adding depth to the room.
