Cedric begun working within the stone industry in 1987 as a trainee surveyor and contracts manager. He gained further experience over 13 years working on prestigious projects in all aspects of the manufacture and installation of marble, granite and limestone products.

Cedric Incorporated Surrey Marble and Granite (SMG) in August 2000 with 6 staff members and has developed the company over the last 17 years into an established and respected specialist manufacturer and supplier in all types of natural and man-made stone products.

Kevin started at Surrey Marble and Granite shortly after its inception and has worked his way up through various roles to become a company director.

Kevin enjoys working as part of a team that prides itself on excellent customer service, great products and quality craftsmanship. Prior to working at Surrey Marble and Granite, Kevin worked in sales and customer service and he brings that experience to his role as director in helping customers to get the best products with the best possible customer care.

Pene is originally from a banking background then working with an accountant has led her to enjoy most aspects of the office organisation and paperwork tasks. Pene enjoys working on her own and taking responsibility for the day to day tasks.

Duncan’s previous experience falls under the Printing, Holographics & Steel Structures industries. In 1987 Duncan started a career in the stone industry, working for various companies. During this time Duncan met SMG’s owner Cedric, and a working relationship began when he started working for SMG.

Elliot has been with Surrey Marble and Granite for over 10 years,  he spent 5 years running the saws and 2 years as a mason. His experience and knowledge has allowed him to progress within the company and now works in the office.

Out of work Elliot is a keen a photographer and has a huge love and passion for dogs.

Lulu the parrot is 21 and a half years old and is the company mascot. Cedric has owned Lulu since birth and has been at SMG for 15 years. Lulu hates Cedric’s wife and children and enjoys to bite them!

Lulu originated from Africa and her main skills include screaming, whistling, swearing, chewing and general disruption.

Her likes are:- Sunflower seeds and monkey nuts.

Her dislikes are:- White trainers, walking sticks and dogs.
