Bringing Travertine to Life
A Natural Complement to Timber and Earthy Tones
Travertine is more commonly avoided in today’s kitchens as it does require much more maintenance than its quartz or granite counterparts. However, providing that it is treated with care and consideration, it can make a stunning addition to your property.
With its earthy tones and eye-catching structure, it perfectly combines with wood floors and timber cabinetry.
Streamlined Surfaces and Cladding
For this installation, we created some simple worktops and wall cladding with a 20mm thick edge profile.

A Statement Island Centrepiece
The centrepiece of the project was this stunning island unit, which combined various thicknesses, shapes and detailing. The sleek, flush-fit hob installation makes for not only a great practical workspace but also a real statement in the room.
Seamless Curves and Bespoke Fabrication
To give a seamless, one-piece appearance, the curved end section and circular pedestal were fabricated using numerous facets that we bonded, ground back and then honed to a smooth finish.
A Bespoke Double Vanity
Finally, from our clients’ design inspiration, we created a bespoke double vanity which also included some refined detailing.

As you can tell from this beautiful end product and installation, our client was over the moon with the results.
In general, these materials need to be viewed in full format to appreciate the overall patterning and tone and we hold many types at our showroom location for viewing. For slabs and materials not seen here or in our stocks, we will arrange visits to the main importers where entire ranges in full slab format can be seen.
