At almost every budget, granites quality is its resistance to almost any invasive action of most substances and implements found in the home. Whether sharp steel knives or standing hot saucepans and kettles, granite resists most wear and tear.
We can treat the surface with a proprietary sealer to reduce the slight ability of granite to absorb liquids. This prevents microscopic droplets of water and other potentially damaging liquids permeating the minute voids between the crystals in the granite rock.
Any spillages, especially beetroot, wine, fruit juice, vinegar and cooking oil if hot, should be cleaned up immediately with kitchen roll. The acidity in most of these liquids can eat away at the coating and the polished surface.
