In the modern home, the kitchen continues to be the busy hub of all activities. That is why modern interior design focuses specifically on bespoke kitchen furnishing in different styles, where bespoke furniture, comfortable kitchen worktops, etc. are handcrafted according to each owner’s views and specifications, to come up with the final result of overall comfort, convenience and style rolled in one. The results are homes with unique ambiences and spirit.
Modern engineered stones are available in so many more colours than natural stones. There’s a whole rainbow of shades, in fact, so you can have almost any hue you like for your quartz worktop or new bathroom tiles. We’ve picked a few of our favourites in each colour.
Quartz stone kitchen worktops have certain advantages over some of their competitors. Quartz is non-porous, it is particularly resistant to corrosives and stains (for example coffee, wine, lemon juice, olive oil, vinegar, makeup and other products of daily use) and it is solid enough, retaining the same uniform composition throughout its thickness. This makes for a great material, as the integrity of more natural stone throughout a worktop may be questionable. However, all natural stone kitchen worktops may be tested to guarantee their integrity.
